Step 3 - Process a test transaction

Before you can start processing online payments through your Live account, you will need to process a test transaction through Test MySagePay. The test is mainly to familiarise yourself with our systems and ensure the integration was implemented properly.  

Process a test transaction

Go on your website and process a transaction using the details below.  The test account has no connection to the banks live card and address details will not work on our platform.

Test 3D Secure password & response

If 3D Secure is active on your account you will also be required to enter a password to complete the process.

Password (case sensitive)password 

The 3D Secure responses are - 

  • Y - Enrolled, and will progress to the password page to complete verification.
  • N - NOT Enrolled and will return a 3DSecureStatus=NOTAVAILABLE back to your system.
  • U - Unable to verify enrollment and will return a 3DSecureStatus=NOTAVAILABLE back to your system.
  • E - Error occurred during the 3D Secure verification.  This will return a 3DSecureStatus=ERROR back to your system.

Each response is to ensure your website can handle the multiple responses that are sent from Sage Pay back to your site.
